David Hopkins

Dr. David Hopkins has been a board-certified family medicine physician since 2010. He has extensive experience in both primary care and urgent care medicine.

Born and raised in the small town of Pryor in northeastern Oklahoma, Dr. Hopkins enlisted in the United States Marine Corps after graduating from high school. He served four years in the Marine Corps Infantry before attending Northeastern State University in Tahlequah. In 2003, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and then attended medical school at Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Tulsa. He graduated from medical school in 2007 and then completed a three-year Family Medicine Residency at St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City in 2010.

Dr. Hopkins has a true passion for lifelong learning and education. In 2023, he earned a Master of Health Care Administration degree from Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences in Tulsa.

"My goal as a primary care physician has always been to provide personal, compassionate, and comprehensive care to patients of all ages. I strive to help patients achieve physical, mental, and spiritual well-being, not merely the absence of illness. Over the years, I have found that this is best accomplished through a team-based, holistic approach to the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of illness. The Direct Primary Care model provides the ideal environment for this vision to become a reality. Direct Primary Care offers the opportunity to once again establish the therapeutic doctor-patient relationship that was once the cornerstone of healthcare. It would be my privilege to care for you and your family."

Dr. Hopkins lives in the Edmond area with his wife and son. Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time outdoors and, most of all, being a father and husband.
